This sculpture of a Jack Russell Terrier fishing was inspired by my good friend  "Jakie Spraker". 

As a rookie fly fisherman myself, I have always been delighted by the fishing enthusiasm of all of my dogs;  particularly my two Jack Russell Terriers.  They never tire of watching the dry fly float down the river in anticipation of my catching a fish!  In this piece I have tried to capture the intense expression and total concentration that the Jack Russell truly exhibits in ALL aspects of his life!
