This
delightful little dog is a Long Coated Chihuahua. The
"heart" of this piece is her absolute devotion to her
mistress.
The challenge then, was to sculpt this tiny little fluffy dog without becoming too sweet and compromising the integrity of the sculpture. To me, this piece is reminiscent of the European companion dogs of the 18th century.
